Referee and Umpire Training in Connecticut
Training for CT referees and umpires is done through a combination of classroom instruction and on-court or on-field direction. Once training is completed, you will be required to pass a rules exam for your sport. This exam is created by the NFHS. Final certification also requires that you pass a CIAC background test.
